Always in this that is... Today.

Moments moving,
Coming, going, Like a river- flowing, flowing. This that is: Thus and so. Seasons come and seasons go. Spring green, Winter snow Autumn colors turning Leaves brightly burning. Moments ever moving, Let 'em come Let 'em go River of Rivers Forever Flow This that is: Thus and so.

In ultimate solitude Another kind of Light Penetrates all there is. In the stillness of this Different kind of light There pervades a sense of Awesome potentiality Filled with phenomenality. In the Here and Now There's no need of looking Backward nor forward, There is always this that is.

To say,
"heaven and earth,"
is like saying,
"ice and steam."

Impermanence...
Autumn's creeping in with clouded up, misty, drippy, skies. The gnarly old apple trees out there by the fence have already begun to say their goodbyes. Winter will come as soon as it pleases with cold, wet days and blowing breezes, pizza hot with drippy cheeses, smiles and tears and tickly sneezes. In spring and summer we sing and run and living and loving is lots of fun. There's things beginning or already done and smiles and tears and storm and sun. And when seasons are ended they've just begun. :-)

At this time of day, between sun and moon, no welcome breeze finds its way into the door of my tiny dusk-filled hut. Lighting no candle, I sit in the gathering darkness watching the curtain fall.

Illusory worlds
Images appear in mind
Like spring wildflowers

After storm is gone
Sunshine pours white into pool
Mind cool, calm, quiet

Morning shadows fall
Writing lines upon the green
Grasshoppers drink dew

Leafless limbs of birch
Etched against a sunset sky
Mind of no mind clear

Sleeping on the beach
On cool but sunny day
Dream candles appear

spring rain falls wetly
